The stage is set for the two to perform well against a team that gives up the third-most points and the second-most rebounds in the league to opposing centers.

Boston Celtics guards Jrue Holiday (knee) and Derrick White (ankle) won't be in the lineup on Friday versus Charlotte. Boston will run with its bench mob against the Hornets, as the entire starting five plus Al Horford (toe) has been ruled out. Payton Pritchard will get the keys to the backcourt, with Jaden Springer and Svi Mykhailiuk also in a position to benefit from the absences of Holiday and White.

Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder (Achilles) won't play on Friday against the Knicks. The veteran has played well since getting moved to Brooklyn. However, the team has nothing left to play for, so Schroder may be done for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign. With Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) also out, Jacob Gilyard (hip) could slide into the starting lineup if he's cleared to play. But the offense should continue to run through Cam Thomas and Mikal Bridges regardless of who's at the one.

Chicago Bulls guard/forward DeMar DeRozan (rest) will get the night off on Friday versus Washington. The Bulls have nothing left to play for and complete a back-to-back set, so it's completely understandable that the team gives DeRozan some time off. Coby White is set to be the only regular starter in the lineup and should get heavy usage in a good matchup against a struggling team. Meanwhile, Chicago's bench mob led by Dalen Terry will get an opportunity to show what they are capable of in larger roles.

Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (rest) won't feature against the Wizards on Friday. He sits out the second leg of a back-to-back for rest purposes. With Andre Drummond (ankle) already on the shelf, it looks like we'll get to know Adama Sanogo a lot better on Friday. Smaller lineups could also give extra playing time to Dalen Terry, Torrey Craig, and Javonte Green.

Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (back) will remain out of the lineup on Friday against the Clippers. Clarkson has played just five times since the beginning of last month, leaving Utah without its third-best scorer. Keyonte George has gotten a big boost in fantasy value on Utah's backcourt over the final couple of months of the season, with Talen Horton-Tucker also recently breaking back into the rotation. With Collin Sexton (illness) considered doubtful for Friday, George and Horton-Tucker could be used even more on the offensive end.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The star guard was considered as doubtful coming into this game, but the team will ultimately hold him out. This is not good news for the Bucks as this team is already shorthanded. The expectation is that the Bucks will use a committee approach to fill the void left by Lillard. Patrick Beverley, Pat Connaughton, and Malik Beasley figure to all see more playing time. Out of the three, Beverley has the most upside in terms of streaming appeal.

Chicago Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan (rest) has been downgraded to doubtful ahead of Friday's game against the Washington Wizards. Fantasy managers don't need to worry as this looks like a routine rest game for DeRozan. The Bulls have already locked up the 9th seed, so they have no incentive to put DeRozan out there. The expectation is that the Bulls will use a committee approach to fill the void. Dalen Terry, Javonte Green, and Jevon Carter figure to all see more playing time.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (knee) is listed as probable ahead of Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The veteran forward sat out alongside guard Klay Thompson (knee) during Thursday's contest. However, head coach Steve Kerr mentioned beforehand that both players should be active for Friday. The return of Green should push Jonathan Kuminga out of the starting five. Kuminga won't have as strong of streaming appeal while playing off the bench. Fantasy managers should double check that status of Green and Thompson ahead of tip-off.

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson (knee) is listed as probable ahead of Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The veteran guard sat out of Thursday's game due to a lingering knee issue. However, head coach Steve Kerr said beforehand that he expected Thompson to play on Friday. He should return to the starting five, which will drop Chris Paul to the bench. Fantasy managers should double check that Thompson is active ahead of Friday's game.

Denver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) is anticipated to play in Friday's game in San Antonio. KCP has played as well as expected during the 2023-24 campaign, averaging 10.1 points and shooting 40.7% from behind the arc. He also hasn't missed much time, so the shoulder injury shouldn't keep him off the floor versus the Spurs. Unfortunately, Caldwell-Pope scored only four points in each of his previous two games against San Antonio, so DFS managers should think twice before putting him in their lineups.

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (hamstring) won't play on Friday versus Detroit. The former Duke Blue Devil has been on a roll lately, averaging 28.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.7 steals in six games in April. But the Mavericks are going to the playoffs, so Dallas won't need him out there against arguably the worst team in the National Basketball Association. With Luka Doncic (ankle) also on the injury report, P.J. Washington, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Dante Exum may see a significant uptick in fantasy production.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (eye) is expected to be back in action on Friday against Memphis. He's been battling a left eye injury since last week and couldn't play on Tuesday versus Golden State because he was experiencing a headache and nausea. Jaxson Hayes played well as Davis' fill-in in the starting five, but he will head back on the bench on Friday, which drops his fantasy appeal near the minimum. The Grizzlies remain without Jaren Jackson Jr. (quadriceps), meaning there's really nobody on the squad capable of slowing down Davis, so this could be a big comeback game for the Lakers star.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Friday's matchup against Memphis. He's back on the injury report with a left ankle issue after recently battling an illness. James missed Sunday's game against Minnesota due to the illness but came back with an impressive 33-point, 11-assist double-double on Tuesday versus Golden State. The questionable tag has been more like a probable designation for James all season, and the chances appear high that he will play against the Grizzlies. Memphis has done little to slow down James in 2023-24, as the NBA's all-time leading scorer has notched 23.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 2.3 steals across three head-to-head clashes.

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Kyle Lowry (knee) is considered questionable for Friday's battle with the Magic. He's in danger of missing a third consecutive game due to a left knee effusion. The veteran has logged 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 28.8 minutes since joining his hometown team. The trio of Cameron Payne, Buddy Hield, and De'Anthony Melton should take care of his minutes on Friday if Lowry can't return. Hield has the most fantasy upside of the three, but he's blown hot and cold in Philadelphia.

A problem with his left patella initially left Holiday questionable for the game, but he's been upgraded to available. With Boston bringing all of its guns out on Thursday, Holiday will likely have to play second fiddle. However, he must be in high spirits after just securing a four-year, $135 million contract extension for himself, and this should help his performance. The 33-year-old is averaging 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists for the month.

He's dealing with right knee tendonitis, and the team has downgraded Thompson from questionable to out. The five-time All-Star will get his first chance to return to the lineup on Friday against New Orleans. Brandin Podziemski will likely start in Thompson's place on Thursday. The 21-year-old rookie has notched 9.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 28 previous starts this season.

Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's meeting with the Trail Blazers. The team has downgraded him from questionable to out as Green is dealing with a right knee contusion. He shouldn't miss a lot of time and could be back on Friday as Golden State completes a back-to-back against New Orleans. With Green out on Thursday, Jonathan Kuminga has a chance to go berserk against a weak frontcourt, with extra minutes also available for Trayce Jackson-Davis and Andrew Wiggins.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (groin) is listed as doubtful for Friday's tilt against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lillard missed three games due to a strained right groin last week, and he's now dealing with soreness in his left adductor. With Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) regular season finished, the Bucks should have a ton of vacated usage on Friday. Patrick Beverley figures to steer the offense in the starting lineup against the Thunder, with Khris Middleton (ankle), who is off the injury report, likely handling more ball-handling responsibilities. Beverley is averaging 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.3 three-pointers in six games as a starter for Milwaukee in 2023-24, and Middleton is averaging an efficient 17.2 points, 5.3 dimes, 3.8 boards, 1.0 swipes, and 2.3 threes in 24.8 minutes through six games without Lillard this year.

Boston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) is available to play in Thursday's game against the New York Knicks. The first-place Celtics tend to list Horford with a sprained left big toe on back-to-back sets, so look for the veteran big man to be unavailable for Friday's tilt against the dismal Charlotte Hornets. With Kristaps Porzingis' (hamstring) status remaining uncertain for Thursday's contest, Horford could be in for start at center in Boston's first unit and a considerable bump in DFS rostership if KP is inactive. In 19 games without Porzingis this season, Horford is logging 11.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.4 three-pointers, and 1.8 combined steals plus blocks per contest. With that said, the Knicks are giving up the second-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers this year.
